Submissions Closed

Posted on January 7 2024 by Mark Wohlschlegel • WC3W

We have closed the submission for the 2023 DX Marathon Program. I want to thank all of you our participants who managed to make the January 5th deadline. We had almost zero requests for extensions and that we appreciate. I also want to thank each and every one for participating in the fastest growing DX Program in the world today. We have again set a year over year record of +50% growth for participation during calendar year 2023. If you recall, we were +42% from 2021 to 2022. We thank you for being a part of this exciting program and for your support.

I am pleased to announce that we will be releasing the High Claimed Scores this evening. Also, please be reminded of the following statement.

The scores that are posted are “High Claimed Scores”. These are exactly as you our participants have submitted to the program. Scores may contain pirates, incorrect callsigns, incorrect zones, non-valid operations, antennas not approved for Limited or Formula Class and simple entry errors that may reduce any of these scores. Final results of the 2023 DX Marathon program will be published in the 2024 June issue of CQ Magazine and on this website after June 1st, 2024. Please be patient. Those published scores will be final and not subject to appeal.

I encourage all of you to dive into 2024 DX Marathon program. Conditions and propagation associated with Cycle 25 are getting even better and there is a very active DX-pedition schedule falling into place this year. Most of all, tell your ham radio friends about the DX Marathon program and have fun!
