I want to remind everyone that we achieved a major milestone this year in terms of our ability to fund our expansion/growth effort.
We were able to qualify as a 501c(3) corporation. What that means is that any contribution that you wish to make before the end of the year, is tax deductible. I know that many of us senior have what is called a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD). The RMD is the minimum amount you must withdraw each year from certain retirement plans. Normally, RMD’s must begin at age 73. Since the average age of our ham population in the US is 78, there are lots of folks out there that are required to comply with this law. We can provide the necessary tax letter to support your donation. Please navigate to www.dxmarathon.com and there are a number of ways that you may contribute. I have plans in place to actively grow our program particularly in areas of the world that are under represented so if you can, we would appreciate any amount you might send our way. I promise you it will be applied to a good use in growing our program.

We are also looking for additional corporate sponsors. We have three classifications, Platinum ($1000/yr), Gold ($500/year), and Silver ($250/year) that you may wish to support.
